Personality: Latvia is a small, shy teenage boy who spent most of his childhood being bullied by his older, stronger classmates. As a result, he doesn't say much but when he's called upon he will speak his mind, and that often gets him in trouble. He's extremely hardworking, always trying his best even when he knows that his best isn't anywhere near good enough. He also tends to be overshadowed by other people, due to his submissive nature. He's extremely kindhearted and caring, but that's not well-known because he spends his time being rather quiet and distant as not to stick out and make himself a target for bullies again.

Roleplay sample: Raivis sighs, picking up his pen and staring blankly at the paper once more. All he needs is another couple of hundred words to meet his target and then he can rest for the night, but the more he looks at the page the less everything seems to make sense. The assignment isn't due for another week or so, but the way he sees it it's best to get it completed and out of his hair as soon as possible. Dropping the pen to the paper for what seems like the millionth time; he reaches out for his coffee and balks as the taste of stale liquid hits his tongue.

He shouldn’t be having such difficulty writing the paper, this he knows, but somehow he just can’t seem to do it. It’s been a long day, he’d managed to get himself in trouble again for saying the wrong thing. Scanning over what he’s already written, he mumbles the words to himself to check that they roll smoothly when read aloud and to his pleasure, they do. Once more, the pen is back in his hand and he’s scribbling away to fix his mistakes; spelling errors and grammatical errors that he hasn’t noticed before suddenly jump out at him. A quick glance at the clock tells Raivis that time has flown past a lot faster than anticipated, so reluctantly he decides to call it quits for the night, lest his performance in subjects tomorrow decline due to lack of a good night’s sleep.

I'm really liking the way you write and the personality bit is looking great. Your RP sample, while well written, is a little generic though? Like it could apply to most characters, not just Raivis. Sorry to be so picky but would it be okay if you re-wrote your RP sample to more specifically portray him? ^^; Otherwise this is good!

Raivis looked at the map he held, brows knitted in frustration. He was completely and utterly lost, and couldn't make heads nor tails of what was supposed to be a guide. He was meant to be at history half an hour ago, but despite following the map, he had only gotten himself more lost. At one point, he was sure that he had found the class but opened it and found out it was a biology class - as evidenced by the half-open dead animal splattered across a table - and hastily retreated, thoroughly red faced, stuttering apologies and feeling rather queasy.

The more he walked, the more lost he seemed to get, and the more lost he seemed to get the more he dreaded actually getting to class should he get sternly berated for his tardiness on his first day. Rounding a corner, to both his relief and chagrin, a group of girls stood gossiping. I can ask them for directions! he thought, smiling slightly and walking towards them. When he got close to them, he stopped and awkwardly stood around, hoping that he wouldn't have to be the one to initiate the conversation but none of them even gave him a second glance. Gathering his nerves, he tried to clear his throat but only managed to make a pathetic sort of coughing noise.

"E-excuse me, couldyoutellmehowtogethere?" His sentence was nothing but a jumble of words and he pointed to the room marked out on his map with shaking hands. One of the girls flippantly glanced at the map and sniggered.

"You're outside it." Sure enough, when he turned around to look at the door he stood in front of, it was the room he needed to be at. He nodded a small nod of thanks, and quickly entered the classroom.

The whole room went silent as he entered, and the feeling of every eye in the room on him made his face heat up, so he ducked his head, mumbled a small apology for his lateness and quickly took a seat.

So much for trying not to attract attention. he internally despaired as he got out his books.
