Student council elections

EDIT: Congratulation to Alfred for becoming president!
Every student willing to run for the Student council elections will have to give a small speech on their motivation; They also will have a week to convince people to vote for them.
The winner of the elections will become president, while the second best will assist him as vice president.
You may run for the treasurer and secretary post separately.
((post your "speech" here and rp out your promotion! people who didn't post said IC speech will not be considered as running up for a post. You will be asked to vote IC for who you think your character would vote for on Sunday. Teachers can't vote.))

School's rules

Following are our school's rules; we expect all students to follow them. Going against them will cause an immediate sanction. Severe offenses may result in expulsions.
1) Uniforms are mandatory on school's grounds. While we do allow students to alter them in some ways, we do ask of them they keep it close to the original. Skirts have to fall at least mid-thighs.
2)Violence is not allowed in any cases. Verbal violence, bullying, or fights will not be tolerated and will be faced with severe punishments.
3) Alcohol, weapons or drugs are not allowed on school grounds. This includes personal multi function knives or cigarettes.
4) Teachers will check the dorms after the curfew; past 10PM everyone is meant to be in their respective rooms, sleeping.
5) Male students aren't allowed in the girl's dorms, Female students aren't allowed in the boy's dorms.
6)Respect your teachers and environment. Mocking a teacher or littering will be punished.
7) Students are allowed to go in town, but not out of it. Please act like responsible people and stay out of trouble there.
8) Skipping classes is forbidden. You may miss classes if you get a note from the infirmary.
9) Students are not allowed in the teacher's lounge; they also have to ask permission before using any classroom out of class times.

Amy can be defined as a jolly yet reckless girl with sensibility senses nil to none. She has the ability to up her IQ and EQ way higher than their levels at present, though her carefree and wild personality did nothing to help her. She is rebellious and wary of authority and likes to have things go her way: any protests against her opinions are usually ignored. She is also a big eater, preferring the unhealthy diet of burgers, fries, and Coke floats, though her hyperactiveness always burned the fat away.
Having lived half her life in the ranches her dad owned in Melder, Louisiana, Amy loves the wild, work, and adventure. Living and working in the ranches for most of her childhood made her quite a tomboy, and though her pre-rebellion years in New York softened her features and rash attitude a little, she still likes to act like a boy at times. Despite being chided by her stepmom to act more like a lady, the only lady-like feature she has is her good hygiene. She is brash, tactless, yet well-meaning most of the time, though it should be noted that nobody should cross her on that time of the month.
Because of her conservative lifestyle back at home, Amy has homophobic tendencies, leaving her uncomfortable with members of the LGBT community but not flat-out hateful of them. She is able to tolerate gays and lesbians to a certain level, though her mouth tends to offend them at the most inopportune times.
Appearance:
Despite being a strong southerner tomboy, moving to New Yorkas well as the influence of her celebrity stepmother just when she hit puberty softened Amy's boyish looks and turned her to a pretty, if not alluring, teenage American girl.
When back in Louisiana she wore her hair in ponytails to keep them away from her face, intervention from her stepmom led her to a day-long salon visit that left her with short, shoulder-length hair bobbing into a slight, inward curl at the end. She has a strand of hair (a remembrance of her life in the ranches and being licked by the cows) that refuses to cooperate, though she secures it down to the rest of her hair with a white-star hairpin from her stepmom.
Thanks to her life in the ranches and her outgoing personality, Amy developed a perfect tan that many of her girl classmates envied. She is quite simple, though, and she definitely abhors make-up of any kind.
Amy loves wearing borderline-skimpy blouses that show her belly and ridiculously short shorts to spite her conservative dad, much to the amusement of her stepmom. She is rarely seen without her bomber jacket though, a 'relic' passed on from her paternal grandfather who served on the Second World War. Because of her allergy to metal and jewelry, the only accessory on her person is an old watch given by their ranch's caretaker before she left for New York which she only removes in the shower.
History:
Before her dad remarried when she was in 6th grade, she was a daddy's girl and was taught the joys and hardships of owning and taking care of horses and bulls back at home. Amy's ambition was simple - to live as a cowgirl with her dad forever.
Her simple dream crashed, however, when her father decided to leave the ranches to their caretaker and move to New York just after she finished sixth grade. After a boatload of temper tantrums and arguments in their house, she eventually conceded to go with him to New York, only to be given the surprise of a famous celebrity stepmom fetching them at the airport.
Not used to a mother figure, Amy entered her rebellious stage at the age of 12, proving a problem to her parents by going to parties without permission and arriving at home in the early hours of the day. This eventually simmered down as she got to know her stepmom, and by the time she turned 14 she reverted back to her pre-rebel personality, though she still wears skimpy clothes just to spite her dad.
When she was 15 years old, she overheard a conversation between her stepmom, who she affectionately calls 'Mimi,' and her dad about Mimi's concern for her father's 'other child.' Hurt that her dad kept this from her all these years, she confronted them about it and eventually found out that she had an elder brother named "Matthew Williams" who lived in Canada with her biological mother. Deciding that she wanted to keep in touch with the other side of her family again, as well as a good deal of support from Mimi in dealing with her father's apprehension at that topic, she managed to call her mother and found out that her brother was out finishing high school in a far-flung academy. With more help from Mimi, she persuaded her dad to enroll her there as well, and thus starts a new adventure...
Roleplay Sample (AT LAST!!):
This is it, this is finally it! Amy's going to meet her brother at long last!
Her body shook in excitement and an excess of energy as she pulled out a picture of him her biological mother emailed. Oh, they did look a little alike, though he had curlier hair and looked really feminine to her. Their mother told her that he was a nice kid, though he knew nothing about having a little sister, so it would be a surprise for him as well!
Trying to contain her excitement as she lugged her blue trolley bag behind her, Amy pulled out her smartphone and called Mimi to tell her that she already arrived. Pouting when her dear stepmom wasn't answering, she scrolled down to her dad's number instead and called him.
After a few more rings his dad finally picked up, though it was Mimi who answered it. 'Well, maybe they're in bed,' she thought with a giggle as she talked about her comfortable flight and how she was missing them already but was so excited to meet Matthew here. She sat at one of the benches in the waiting area of the airport and chatted with her stepmom, finding out that Mimi was taking the leading role of a new movie and they were celebrating it with a late honeymoon to Bora. A growl from her dad kept the call short, and she hung up with a fond grin - she really loved her stepmom, though she was really eager to get to know her brother too.
Oh, right, she had to take a taxi now! Amy hastily dragged her bag along the hall, the wheels thudding on the cold tiles as they rolled, until she reached the cab lane. Grinning excitedly as she embarked in one, she bounced on her seat and giggled immaturely as she thought about her new school and her brother. Oh, was she going to stay if he left? She didn't know, but maybe if she made friends there, she will!
Eventually they reached the gates of a grand academy, grander than any school she had ever attended in her whole life, and she was gaping openly at the grand school's grandeur. Her brother was here? Ohhh, she could hardly bear it, she had to go now! She quickly stepped out of the taxi and lugged her bag hurriedly into the gates, only to get shouted at by the taxi driver for not paying.
"Ohh, sorry mister!" She apologized absentmindedly and fished out a couple of bills from her pocket, nearly a half more than what she needed to pay. Without turning back to see the thankful grin of the driver, she looked in awe at the academy through the gates again and squealed excitedly.
"Ohh, this is it, this is it!! Here I come, big brother!" She screamed to nobody at all and lugged her bag to the academy again, with so much excitement in her heart at the thought of meeting her long-lost brother for the first time.
